Perry Ellis, one of the nation's top prep basketball prospects, will make his college decision from a group of four finalists.
A 6-8 forward at Heights High School in Wichita, Ellis has three schools from his home state - Kansas, Kansas State and Wichita State - on his list along with Kentucky.
"These are the coaches he is most comfortable with," Heights basketball coach Joe Auer told the Wichita Eagle. "These are all schools that have taken the most time over the past four years to get to know Perry."
Kansas State and Kansas will make an in-home visit on Sept. 9, but Auer says Wichita State, despite is lower profile, is still a contender, saying Ellis "likes the success they've had. They're very close to home. They sell out about every game. There's a lot to like."
Ellis is ranked No. 19 overall by Rivals.com. He was also considering Duke and Memphis before trimming his list.
