Pac-10 is 0-1 in NCAA tournament; USC falls to VCU

Not a good start for the Pac-10 as USC lost 59-46 to Virginia Commonwealth in the first-round of the NCAA tournament tonight.

That leaves just three teams from the conference: No. 5 Arizona, No. 7 Washington and No. 7 UCLA.

USC's defeat is the last game for senior forward Alex Stepheson. Junior forward Nikola Vucevic may not return and declare early for the NBA draft.
