Pittsburgh, the last No. 1 seed, is receiving 8-1 odds to win it all.
San Diego State has the best odds of the No. 2 seeds, coming in at 12-1. North Carolina (15-1) is just behind the Aztecs, while Florida, which was a questionable No. 2 seed, is next at 17-1. Notre Dame, which had been thought to be in the running for a No. 1 seeds, is listed at 25-1, which is considerably low for a No. 2 seed, particularly given that Texas is getting 20-1 odds as a No. 4.
Washington is a No. 7 seed but has better odds (40-1) to win than No. 4 Wisconsin (50-1), No. 5 West Virginia (100-1), No. 5 Vanderbilt (100-1), No. 6 St. John's (100-1) and No. 6 Cincinnati (200-1).
In the prop bet category, Marcus Morris of Kansas is the overall favorite to win the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award (11-2). Duke's Kyle Singler is right behind him at 6-1, which is a bit strange given that he wasn't even the best player on his team this year (Nolan Smith was and he's only getting 13-2 odds). Players on the top teams dominate this category, of course. The better your team is, the more likely you are to win MOP. Jimmer Fredette is only getting 50-1 odds, namely because few expect BYU to make a deep run into the tournament.
Bodog also is taking wagers on how many buzzer beaters will happen during the tournament (none leads the pack at 5-7), the largest margin of victory (the over/under is 37.5) and the most number of points a team will score in the round of 64 (o/u at 100.5). Pittsburgh is the No. 1 seed most likely to be bounced first from the tournament and there are 22-1 odds on all four No. 1 seeds making the Final Four. And proving that you can bet on almost anything, Bodog is offering a prop bet on which Canadian player will average the most points during the tourney.
And you probably don't want to go with Alabama State in your brackets. According to Nate Silver, the Hornets are 3.99 trillion-to-one to win it all.
